How you'll make a difference

As an information analyst you’ll make a difference by using technical and analytical skills to provide clear and concise data, reports and analysis in order to help the council improve services, service delivery and play a part in improving outcomes for adults.

What will you be doing?

You will be analysing information and investigating the causes and contributing factors to good and poor performance across adult social care services. Under the direction of a Senior Manager you may also lead projects to propose and undertake actions to improve service performance and data quality.
  • The work undertaken by you will form the basis of decision making on such things as resource allocation and policy changes involving all of the Department’s services across all client groups and areas. It will provide both Elected Members and senior managers with key management information where the relevance, accuracy and validity of the information will be your responsibility.

What we need from you

  •  You will be educated to degree level or equivalent with a proven track record of working in an analytical environment in a large organisation.
  • You’ll have good technical skills (such as knowledge of SQL, PowerBI, Excel)
  • You’ll hold previous experience of working with stakeholders and partners in order to influence and build requirements, solve problems and how data can help influence and improve services.
